GOSH 2022 in Panama: Seeed Organized AIoT2Wild and Custom Electronic Design Workshops Using SenseCAP K1100 Kit!

During October 26-29th, the 4th edition of Gathering for Open Science Hardware (briefly known as ‘GOSH 2022’) was held in Panama. On this occasion, Seeed’s Field Application Engineer joined the event on-site to organize 2 hands-on workshops on using SenseCAP K1100 Kit for environmental and wildlife conservation scenarios. On this background, we’re happy to have supported Mario’s trip to the event, as well as sponsored 11 units of SenseCAP K1100 Kit for his workshop participants.

On October 15th-16th, Hendra Kusumah, one of the IoT2Wild Contest winners in our global open source community, flew to Bali, Indonesia, with the intention to share his latest environmental conservation project, deliver a talk on a #Tech4Good topic, and facilitate 2 hands-on workshops at Bali Fab Fest 2022. As Seeed Studio is a Community Partner for Bali Fab Fest, we’re happy to have supported Hendra’s trip to the event, as well as sponsored SenseCAP K1100 Kits for his workshop participants.

Seeed Received 122 Project Submissions Successfully for “#IoT2Wild Contest 2022”! Online Winner Announcement Will Be Taking Place at Hackster’s Impact Summit on October 11th!!!

During the 4-months-long journey of “IoT Into the Wild Contest for Sustainable Planet 2022” by Seeed Studio, we received 122 completed project documentation submissions to be considered for final Awards. Seeed’s “IoT Into the Wild Contest for Sustainable Planet 2022” has been increasingly receiving a lot of attention, love, and support all over the world. To date, 527 people have registered as contest participants, and most of them are finalizing their project documentation to catch the deadline for project submission. To help the participants make much clearer project documentations, we’re happy to share the updated judging criteria in advance! Even better, we’re officially releasing SenseCraft v0.2!

SDG Summer School 2022 Wrap-up: Students’ AI Data Analytics Solution Facilitated by Seeed at Chaihuo x.factory, Supported by WHO, The Global Fund, Geneva Tsinghua Initiative, Partisia Blockchain, and More

“SDG Summer School 2022: Open Source Health Solutions” was physically organized in Chaihuo x.factory in July, Shenzhen, China. This event was spearheaded by Geneva Tsinghua Initiative (GTI) and supported by the Global Fund, WHO, Seeed Studio, University of Geneva, Université de Paris, Learning Planet Institute, and Partisia Blockchain. As a result, participants in Shenzhen came up with an AI data analytics solution to tackle Challenge 6. By doing so, SDG Summer School 2022 seeks to contribute to the achievement of the UN’s SDGs.
